Olympic Sports Day a huge success! On Thursday 21st June our school community came together at Cookstown Leisure Centre to support children in their Olympic themed sports day. The children launched the occasion with an Olympic procession and ceremony.Check out the photos above!

CRED 2012 On Tuesday 12th June, we celebrated our CRED project. CRED stands for Community Relations, Equality and Diversity. We worked with 7 schools in Cookstown building good relations and sharing activities based on the Olympic Ideals. Over 500 parents and guests celebrated with over 300 children! Well done Everyone! Diamond Jubilee Celebrations Tuesday 12th June: Children led a celebration assembly in school today to share their activities related to the Diamond Jubilee. Tea parties were held in class afterwards. Photos to follow...

First Holy Communion Well done to our First Communicants who celebrated the sacrament of the Eucharist with Holy Trinity PS on Saturday 2nd June. What a special day! Check out the Year 4 page for photos

ECO Club Success - Green Flag Well done to our Eco Club in achieving their first green flag for the school! We will soon have it erected on school grounds!

Year 6 Cycling Proficiency Year 6 recently completed their Cycling Proficiency on school grounds. We are happy they are building their confidence in cycling. Keeping safe on the roads.

Year 3 Manchester United mascot! Emma Attwood, one of our Year 4 pupils was chosen to lead Manchester United out onto the pitch at Windsor Park. Local Footballing legend Harry Gregg was acknowledged in a testimonial match in May. A great night for all involved, especially Mrs Watson as Harry is her uncle. It was also a very special family occasion.

Year 7 Confirmation Year 7 children celebrated the sacrament of Confirmation at Holy Trinity Church on Saturday 24th of March. It was a very special day and we felt privileged to be part of their special occasion. We would like to congratulate them on a very important spiritual milestone in their lives. Integrated Education celebrates 30 years! As part of the 30th year celebration of Educating Children Together we visited Stormont for the launch of Integrated Education Week. A large number of schools were represented. This year the focus is "journeys". More information and photos to follow.

Phoenix 6 Run - A Successful run/walk! The Phoenix 6 Run was a great success and raised over £900 towards our Interactive Whiteboards. Well done to all those who participated and helped to make the day great fun! If anyone has any last minute donations please forward them to school. Photos on view now on our Parents page!

Phoenix Green Team scoop major award!

Eddie, Mrs Major have led our Eco club to success at "Belfast Harbour" Green teacher of the year awards. Eddie scooped 2nd prize in a tough competition and we are very proud. Mrs Major, Eddie and the Eco Club had an exciting day at W5 and have exciting rewards to look forward to as part of their prize. All the good work was worth it. Recycling and Eco awareness is the name of the game!
