In Year 4 we have learnt about Diwali and know that it is the Festival of Lights. It is an important festival for Hindu and Sikh people across the world. We learnt about the story of Rama and Sita and made our own diya lamps because they were used to help guide Rama and Sita back home. We also found out that it was the Hindu new year! We wish nutan varshabhinandan to everyone celebrating!
