This week the Nursery children have enjoyed large block play.
The children were able to access the blocks independently and incorporate them into their play in their own unique way.
Many children started to build buildings, with many building our 'new school'. This provided endless opportunities for development. During this time, we measured, counted, predicted, estimated and used mathematical language. Lifting and moving the blocks also helped to promote upper arm strength, balance and coordination.
We just love to #learnthroughplay in Nursery.
