This week all classess have been celebrating Refugee Week.
Year 1 enjoyed finding out what a refugeee is and discussing what different feelings they might experience when moving to a new coutry. We then read the book 'The Invisible String', which highlights the importance of connections to ease seperation anxiety and loneliness. We finished off by colouring in a poster showing the simple acts that we can do to stand with refugees and make new connections in our communities.
