In Year 3 we looked at the weaving art of artist Becky Kisabeth Gibbs. We explored colours that could represent different emotions. We choose colours to represent both happy and sad emotions. We then painted two pictures- one to represent happy and one to represent sad. When both paintings had dried, we cut both pictures into strips and wove them together to show that we are the two of ourselves– the light and the dark - the happy and the sad.
