We usually advertise the Open day on our Facebook page or on the school website. Parents are invited to come along to find out about the school ethos, meet staff and ask any questions. 

Admission criteria is published on the Education Authority website and on the school website. The admission criteria tells you how to apply and what you need to record on your online application. Eg eldest child, etc

All applications are made online via the Education Authority. Before proceeding with your Child's details you will create an account. You will be able to search all schools you are interested in using the search function when you are considering your placements. 

We recommend choosing at least 4 schools. A lot of schools are oversubscribed and this means you have a higher chance of gaining a place. 

Please ensure that you have your online application submitted by the time. 

Applications received after the closing date will be classed as late and will not be processed until all other applicants have been dealt with. 

You will be invited with your child to come in see their new Year 1 class. This is usually an informal stay and play session. 

You will be invited in to an induction session which will cover the Foundation Stage curriculum and other information. We will also take you through a typical day and what you need to prepare for your child's Year 1 experience. You should bring your child to this session as you can both talk about your child's new class. 

Children usually commence Year 1 in groups. This makes it easier for staff to observe and get to know the children in a smaller group situation to help them plan for their needs.
